Jounce

  • "Jounce shows are a full-body experience, felt as easily as they are heard. Songs spanning 15-plus minutes pump the band's groove-infused blend of beat-heavy rock and electric soul and funk into a bouncing crowd." -The Record (NJ)

"By 11:15, when Jounce made their way to the performance floor, Plan B was so packed that they barely had room for their amps and pedals. With the aid of the events staff, they got the room they needed, warmed up, and following a moving intro by Alex, they began playing one of the most up-close-and-personal sets of there young yet experienced careers. They careened in and out of funked up jam sessions and memorable rock riffs to elevate the already amped crowd to an all-new high. At this point I was working the door and watched as previously unaware passer-bys got sucked in and gladly donated 5-bucks to rock out with Jounce and NYCUG!" -NYCUG.COM

Les Sans Culottes

  • French by way of Brooklyn, Les Sans Culottes borrowed their name from the ill-clad (i.e., long-trousered) citizen-soldiers of the French Revolution. Inspired by French 1960’s ye-ye pop, their sound is equal parts Serge Gainsbourg, the Kinks, and 1960’s girl group pop. Their live shows are raucous, high-energy, go-go affairs. “You might not learn anything about French culcha, but you’ll probably hop around like a lunatic.” - Time Out New York

Tiffany Randol

  • Tiffany Randol is reminiscent of a 60’s lovechild. She lives life freely, passionately, self-expressed, and has a commitment to people and community that is evident in all that she does. From her frontwoman role in Valeze to her new Solo EP “Kiss Me Kiss Me” to her paintings, there is an unabashed experience of Love, Life, Sex, and Freedom. “Kiss me Kiss Me”, the debut Solo release by Tiff, is a conversation about what it is to find unconditional love. The music is adventurous, delightful, and charming, and is a completely different speed from the down-n-dirty Antics of Valeze, with a little 50’s/60’s pop and motown vibe. “Kiss Me Kiss Me” and the album seem to capture an intimacy and vulnerability that is striking, with a stellar cast to boot featuring Dennis Cahlo (Saints and Lovers, Realistics), Mikki James (Thin Lizard Dawn), Fred Armisen (SNL), Greg McMullen (Chris Whitley), and Erin Hill (Kanye West).
